Mountain Crevasses

This painting will give you practice painting gradients.

It also helps you learn spatial depth.

A special challenge: Notice as the mountains go back in space, the gradients get lighter and lighter.

Here is a Photoshop version of Crevasses. With this you can see the image without any color, texture or brush marks. You can see it in essence. See the gradients in each shape:


Google Misty Mountain Range and see if you can see gradients in the mountains. See if mountains get lighter the farther away they are.
